RE-39-73 DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO -and-CIVIL SERVICE FORUM, LOCAL 300, SEIU, AFL-CIO - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X DECISION AND ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTIFICATIONS On November 13, 1973, the Office of Labor Relations of the City of New York filed its motion herein, requesting the consolidation of the following certifications: Certification No.82-71 (as amended by Decisions 56-72 and 49-73), held by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and covering Compliance Aide (EEA), (EEA-6), and (EEA-W), Compliance Agent (EEA) and (EEA-6), Consumer Affairs Inspector Trainee, Consumer Affairs Inspector, Senior Consumer Affairs Inspector, Inspector of Ports and Terminals, Senior Inspector of Ports and Terminals, and restored Rule X equivalents; and Certification No.81-71 (as amended by Decision No.8-72), held by Civil Service Forum, Local 300, SEIU, AFL-CIO, and covering Supervising Consumer Affairs Inspector, Supervising Inspector of Ports and Terminals,
Decision No. 2-74 Docket No. RE-39-73 2. Principal Inspector of Ports and Terminals, and restored Rule X equivalents. The parties have been notified of the pendencv of his motion, and no valid objection has been raised. Our investigation shows that such a consolidated unit would be appropriate for collective bargaining purposes and that a majority of the employees in the combined unit have authorized dues check-off In behalf of District Council 37. 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by, the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No.82-71 (as amended by Decisions 36-72 and 49-73) and Certification No.81-71 (as amended by Decision No.8-72) be, and the same hereby are, combined and consolidated so as to constitute one bargaining unit consisting of the titles set forth below; and it is hereby CERTIFIED that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of ail employees in the consolidated unit, to wit: Compliance Aides (EEA), (EEA-6), and (EEA-W), Compliance Agents
