RU-412-73 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTIFICATIONS The parties hereto having stipulated, in writing, that Certifications No. 58-73, issued to District Council 37 AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and covering various hospital technicians; Certification No. 46-70 (as amended by Decision No. 54-73), issued to City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T., and covering various medical technicians; and Certification No. 32-72, issued to Local 144 Hotel, Hospital, Nursing Home and Allied Service employees Union, SEIU, AFL-CIO, and covering various laboratory technicians, should be merged and consolidated; NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that the cited certifications be, and the same hereby are, merged and consolidated so as to constitute one bargaining unit consisting of the titles set forth below; and it is hereby CERTIFIED, that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO; City Employees Union, Local 237, I.B.T.; and Local 144, Hotel, Hospital, Nursing Home and Allied Service Employees Union, SEIU, AFL-CIO; jointly, are the exclusive representatives for

Equipment Technician Trainee, Assistant Bio-Medical Equipment Technician, Bio-Medical Equipment Technician, Senior Bio-Medical Equipment Technician, Ambulance Technician, Ambulatory Care Technician, Maternal and Child Care Technician, Medicine-Surgery Technician, Operating Room Technician, Psychiatric/ Social Health Technician, Rehabilitation Technician, Electrocardiograph Technician, Electroencephalograph Technician, Radiation Technician, Senior Electrocardiograph Technician, Senior Radiation Technician, Senior X-ray Technician, Supervisor of X-ray Technician Services, X-ray Technician, Health Code Aide (EEA), Laboratory Technician, Senior Laboratory technician, Senior Laboratory Technician (Office of the Chief Medical Examiner), and employees in restored Rule X titles who are serving in positions equated thereto, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, and, further, subject to existing contracts 1 , if any, covering or any all of said employees.
