RU-311B-72 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO filed its petition herein on April 20, 1972 (later amended by letters of June 12, 1972 and October 5, 1972) requesting, inter alia, to add the title of Environmental Health Technician to Certification No.69-71, presently covering Public Health Sanitarian and Public Health Sanitarian Trainee. 1 The parties hereto have agreed, and it appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Environmental Health Technician should be added to Certification No.69-71, presently covering Public Health Sanitarian and Public Health Sanitarian Trainee. 1 The petition bearing Docket No. RU-311-72 requesting consolidation of two certifications, amendment of various certifications, and certification of Mental Health Workers. This decision is limited solely to Environmental Health Technician. The remainder of the titles named in the petition has been or will be treated in separate decisions.(See also Decision No.19-73).

It further appears to the satisfaction of the Board that a majority of the employees in said unit have demonstrated their desire to be represented by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Certification No.69-71 be, and the same hereby is amended to include the title of Environmental Health Technician, subject to existing contracts, if any.
