(Official decision follows.) ____________________________________________________________ OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION In the Matter of the Certification Proceeding -between- CITY OF NEW YORK, Petitioner, -and- DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Respondent. ____________________________________________________________ ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On December 6, 2016, the City of New York (“City”) filed a petition pursuant to § 1-02(u) of the Rules of the Office of Collective Bargaining (Rules of the City of New York, Title 61, Chapter 1) seeking to delete vacant and obsolete titles from the Social Services bargaining unit, Certification No. 37-78 Notice of this petition was given to District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and the public, and no objections were filed. The Board of Certification is satisfied that there are no incumbents in the titles and that the City does not intend to use these titles in the future.
