RU-322-72 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE An election having been conducted in the above matter on October 13, 1972, pursuant to the Direction of Election herein (Decision No.43-72), and it appearing from the Report Upon Secret Ballot that a majority of Occupational Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Senior Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Senior Physical Therapists, Supervising Therapists, Speech and Hearing Therapists, Supervising Audiologists, Rehabilitation Counselors * , Senior Rehabilitation Counselors * and Assistant Directors of Rehabilitation * , casting valid ballots in said election, have voted for representation by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO; and no objections having been filed within the time provided therefor; * Employees in these titles were formally included in a unit for which District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, was certified as exclusive representative (Decision No.2-70).
Decision No. 66-72 2 Docket No. RU-322-72 NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby CERTIFIED that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all Occupational Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Senior Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Senior Physical Therapists, Supervising Therapists, Speech and Hearing Therapists, Supervising Audiologists, Rehabilitation Counselors, Senior Rehabilitation Counselors and Assistant Directors of Rehabilitation, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, and subject to existing contracts, if any.
