Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION --------------------------------X In the Matter of DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, DECISION NO. 4-72 AFL-CIO -and-DOCKET NO, RU-284-71 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATION On October 19, 1971, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO filed its petition herein, requesting chat the titles of Foreman (Exterminators) and Senior Foreman (Exterminators) be added to Certification, CWR-79/67, presently coveting Exterminators and there being no objection thereto by the City; and the part-es having agreed to a unit consisting of Exterminators, Foremen (Exterminators) and Senior Foremen (Exterminators); And it further appearing to the satisfaction of the Board that such unit is appropriate for collective bargaining purposes, and that a majority of the Foremen (Exterminators) and Senior Foremen (Exterminators) have demonstrated their desire to be represented by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization;
Decision No. 4-72 2 Docket No. RU-284-71 NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Certification CWR-79/67 be, and the same hereby is, amended to include the titles of Foreman (Exterminators) and Senior Foreman (Exterminators), and, as amended, such unit shall consist of Exterminators, Foremen (Exterminators), Senior Foremen (Exterminators), and employees in restored Rule X titles who are serving in positions equated thereto, employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, and subject Lo existing contracts, if any.
