RB-17-72 -and-THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X DECISION AND ORDER By a notice dated June 2, 1972, the parties hereto were advised by the Board of Certification of its proposal to consolidate certain specified Certifications held by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and/or its affiliated locals. The said notice set forth the titles within the Certifications proposed to be consolidated by the Board. Not included were the titles of Registrar Assistant, Group Worker, and Supervisor of Group Workers, which have been found to belong more properly in other bargaining units. The said notice also afforded all parties, including the parties hereto, an opportunity to show cause why such proposed consolidation of the specified units should not be acted upon, and said notice was published in the City Record on June 14, 1972. There has been no opposition by any party to the Board’s proposal, and the time within which to oppose the Board’s proposal, as prescribed in said notice and published in the City Record, has expired. Therefore, the Board’s proposal is adopted as the decision of the Board,
Decision No. 34-72 2 Docket No. RB-17-72 and, accordingly, the Board directs consolidation of the specified units as set forth in the Order entered herein. Excluded from the unit, as consolidated by the order made herein, are the titles of Registrar Assistant, Group Worker, and Supervisor of Group Workers, which have been found to belong more properly in other bargaining units. 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED, that Units “A” and “B” of Certification No.86-70 and certain titles in Certifications 6 NYCDL No.50 and 6 NYCDL No.59, be, and the same hereby are, combined and consolidated so as to constitute one bargaining unit consisting of the titles set forth below; and it is hereby CERTIFIED, that District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO and/or its affiliated locals, is the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining of all employees in the consolidated unit, to wit: Puppeteers, Recreation Directors, Recreation Assistants (Men), Recreation Assistants (Women), Cultural Programs Trainee, Cultural Programs Assistants, Supervising Puppeteers, Cultural Programs Specialists, Assistant Supervisors of Recreation, Center Directors, Teachers of Recreation, and employees in restored Rule X titles equated thereto, employed
