Cert.)] OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING BOARD OF CERTIFICATION --------------------------------X In the Matter of DISTRICT COUNCIL 37, AFSCME, DECISION NO. 22-72 AFL-CIO -and-DOCKET NO. RU-297-72 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS --------------------------------X ORDER AMENDING CERTIFICATIONS The parties hereto have agreed, and it appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that Certification CWR-94/67, covering Institutional Barbers, and Certification CWR-16/67 (as amended by Decision No.19-72), covering Institutional Aides, Nurses Aides, Dietary Aides, Housekeeping Aides, Hospital Aides (E.E.A.), Patient Aides (E.E.A.) and Patient Aides (E.E.A.-6), should be merged and consolidated; and that the titles of Beautician and Nurses Aide (Handicapped Children) should be added to such consolidated unit. The cited Certifications are held by the Union. It further appears to the satisfaction of the Board that a majority of the Beauticians and Nurses Aides (Handicapped Children) have demonstrated their desire to be represented by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization.
Decision No. 22-72 2 Docket No. RU-297-72 NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certifications CWR-94/67 and CWR-16/67 (as amended by Decision No.19-72) be, and the same hereby are consolidated, and it is further ORDERED that the titles of Beautician and Nurses Aide (Handicapped Children) be added to such consolidated unit, and as amended such-unit shall be cited as Decision No.22-72, and shall consist of Beauticians, Institutional Barbers, Institutional Aides, Nurses Aides’, Nurses Aides (Handicapped Children), Dietary Aides, Housekeeping Aides, Hospital Aides (E.E.A.), Patient Aides (E.E.A.) and Patient Aides (E.E.A.-6) employed by the City of New York and related public employers subject-to the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification, and subject to existing contracts, if any.
