RU-292-71 RU-293-71 THE CITY OF NEW YORK AND RELATED PUBLIC EMPLOYERS ---------------------------------DECISION AND ORDER The parties hereto have agreed, and it appears to the satisfaction of the Board, that the title of Vocational Counselor (Addiction Treatment) 1 should be substituted for the obsolete title of Vocational Counselor (Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program) in Certification No.11-72, presently covering various non-supervisory social service and related titles, and that the title of Counselor (Addiction Treatment) should be added thereto; and, further, that the titles of Senior Counselor (Addiction Treatment), Assistant Supervisor (Methadone Treatment Center), Supervisor (Methadone Treatment Center), Senior Addiction Specialist (Methadone) and Addiction Program Administrator should be added to Certification No.63-71, as previously amended by Decision No.74-71, 1 The new title of Vocational Counselor (Addiction Treatment) was established by Personnel Order No.66/71, dated October 5, 1971, to replace the title of Vocational-Counselor (Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program)

It further appears to the satisfaction of the Board that a majority of employees in each of the above units have demonstrated their desire to be represented by District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, by having authorized check-off of dues in behalf of said organization. 0 R D E R NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Board of Certification by the New York City Collective Bargaining Law, it is hereby ORDERED that Certification No.11-72 be, and the same hereby is, amended to substitute the title of Vocational Counselor (Addiction Treatment) for Vocational Counselor (Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program) and to include the title of Counselor (Addiction Treatment), subject to existing contracts, if any, and, it is further ORDERED, that Certification No.63-71, as amended by Decision No.74-71, be, and the same hereby is, further amended to include the titles of Senior Counselor (Addiction
