DIRECTIONS

 The following directions are issued as a result of the meeting held with counsel on June 4, 1999:





[1] Counsel for the Respondents will give written notice of this appeal to the third parties (as identified by the Information and Privacy Commissioner) and to the Government of Nunavut.  The notice will specify that if any of those parties wish to make representations on this appeal then they should be in attendance in Chambers in Yellowknife on Monday, July 19, 1999, at 2:00 P.M., and the purpose of that session (as noted below).

[2] Service will be effected, on or before June 25, 1999, by ordinary mail and fax.  An affidavit of service is to be prepared and filed.

[3] At the session on July 19th, the parties should be prepared to address:
(a) a date for the hearing of the appeal;
(b) the contents of the appeal  record ;
(c) timelines and order for filing of written arguments; and,
(d) to what extent, if any, the appeal proceedings should be  in camera .
