Decision Information

Decision information:

Abstract: Application for interim child support and cross-application for interim spousal support. Levesque did not create a mathematical approach to setting the quantum. There is still wide scope for the exercise of discretion. The respondent was attending school and only able to work part-time. Applying a notional annual income not satisfactory. Evidence not satisfactory of need for spousal support. Interim spousal support is based on need to maintain an acceptable standard of living until trial; not some type of economic disadvantage arising from the marriage
Decision: Claim for interim child support and claim for interim spousal support denied.
