Abstract: Application sought to quash the decision of the Board holding that a payment made by her employer on her dismissal satisfied the termination pay requirements in the Act. Severance under the collective agreement and termination pay under the Act were one and the same the benefits conferred by the Act were not to be a supplement to the collective bargaining regime.
Decision: Application dismissed. Board's decision not patently unreasonable warranting intervention
