Abstract: The Landlord appealed an order of the rental officer finding that the tenant had paid $7,090.00 more than was required as rent under the Act. Determination that the rent payable by a tenant was that portion of the total consideration described as rent in the tenancy agreement.
Decision: Appeal allowed. Order of the Rental Officer varied so as to require the tenant to pay 3 months rent overdue with interest.
