Heard:            September 13-14, 2017

Summary:       Wife sought unequal division of property after 8 year relationship.  Proceeds from sale of matrimonial home divided unequally having regard to wife’s post-separation payment of all debts.  She contributed to her pension for almost 17 years before cohabitation began.  The pre-cohabitation pension contributions were not divided.  Where there was no evidence of the value of household contents, a mechanism was put in place for them to be divided in specie.

Key words:     Family – property division, debt division, unequal division, pension, household contents
