SUMMARY:        The appellants applied to the Chambers judge of the Court of Appeal to stay proceedings in the Supreme Court (scheduled to begin that afternoon) pending the hearing of an interlocutory appeal.

 

RESULT:            Application dismissed.

 

The Chambers judge has no jurisdiction to grant such an order.
