EXPEDITED RENEWAL PROCESS FOR REGISTRANTS
WHEREAS:
(A) Staff of The Manitoba Securities Commission have applied to the Commission for an order pursuant to section 20(1) of The Securities Act exempting certain registrants from the requirement to file the form of renewal of registration required by clause 2(6) of The Securities Regulation, M.R. 491/88R; subject to the conditions described in this order.
(B) The Commission issued Notice No. 2001-31 permitting an applicant for a renewal of registration to use an Expedited Renewal Process.
(C) The Commission is of the opinion it would not be prejudicial to the public interest to grant the order requested.
IT IS ORDERED:
1. THAT, pursuant to section 20(1) of the Act, an applicant for renewal of a registration shall be exempt from clause 2(6) of the Regulation, on condition that the applicant complies with the requirements of MSC Notice 2001-31.
