THE COMMODITY FUTURES ACT – ADOPTION OF RULE
On October 16, 2014 The Manitoba Securities Commission, along with other members of the
Canadian Securities Administrators, published as rules amendments to National Instrument 33-
109 – Registration Information, National Instrument 52-107 Acceptable Accounting Principles
and Auditing Standards, and to National Instrument 31-103 – Registration Requirements,
Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations which will all come into force January 11, 2015.
This publication included a CSA Notice as well as amendments to the National Instruments and
Companion Policies. The Notice can be found at:

This is to provide notice that the amendments to National Instrument 33-109 – Registration
Information and to Companion Policy 33-109 – Registration Information are also being adopted
as a rule and policy, respectively, under The Commodity Futures Act.
