CSA STAFF NOTICE 31-310 PROPOSED NATIONAL INSTRUMENT 31-103 REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND PROPOSED COMPANION POLICY 31-103CP REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS On November 14, 2008, the Canadian Securities Administrators (the CSA or we) published CSA Staff Notice 31-309 indicating that we expected to complete work on proposed National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements (NI 31-103) by the end of April 2009, at which time we also expected to be in a position to provide a timetable for implementation. We are now able to report that we expect to submit NI 31-103 to the CSA members for approval in June 2009, with the intention of publishing it in mid-July 2009. If NI 31-103 is then approved by the appropriate government authorities in each jurisdiction, it will come into force at the end of September, 2009. We will publish more detailed implementation guidance at a later date.
