FRANÇOIS PILON

Assessment Officer

[1]          This appeal was allowed with costs on September 17, 1998. Mr. Dominique Guimond counsel for the respondents filed a bill of costs on January 8, 2001 and requested it be assessed without the personal appearance of parties. By letter dated January 12, 2001 we invited Mr. Jacques Laurin, counsel for the appellants to file written representations in response by February 2, 2001, but none have been received to date.

[2]      Considering the above-mentioned circumstances the bill of costs submitted by the respondents will be assessed in the amount of 5 470.26$ and a certificate of assessment will issue accordingly.
