     REASONS FOR ORDER

(Delivered from the Bench at Toronto, Ontario

on Wednesday September 17, 1997 as edited.)

ROTHSTEIN, J.:

In spite of applicant's counsel's able argument, the panel in this case cited numerous implausibilities in the applicant's evidence which did concern central aspects of her refugee claim which is related to her husband's political activities. It may be that in respect of one or another of the examples cited by counsel one might take a different view than the panel but over all the panel has cited such a large number of implausibilities that I think it would be inappropriate for the Court to interfere with its decision in this case. For this reason the judicial review application will be dismissed.
