Motion by Era Clothing Inc./Les Vêtements Era Inc. for an order under Rule 151 of the Federal Court Rules, 1998

     REASONS FOR ORDER

RICHARD MORNEAU, ESQ., PROTHONOTARY:

[1]      Upon reading the decisions of this Court in Deprenyl Research Ltd. v. Canguard Health Technologies (1992), 41 C.P.R. (3d) 228 (F.C.T.D.) and AB Hassle v. Minister of National Health and Welfare, unreported decision of Madame Justice Tremblay-Lamer,

T-366-98, 12 December 1998, I am satisfied under the present circumstances that the approach suggested by the Defendant, Era Clothing Inc., should not be followed, and that a more conventional form of confidentiality order should issue. Consequently, Era Clothing Inc.'s motion is dismissed, with costs in the cause.

[2]      A confidentiality order in the terms set out in the draft order appearing at page 58 of the Plaintiffs' motion record shall issue.
