     AND IN THE MATTER OF

     REHANA KHAN

     Appellant

     JUDGMENT AND REASONS FOR JUDGMENT

TEITELBAUM, J.

[1]      The present appeal is dismissed. There is no merit to the present appeal. The Appellant became a landed immigrant on September 22, 1994 and applied for citizenship on November 12, 1996.

[2]      Pursuant to paragraph 5(1)(c) of the Citizenship Act, the Appellant would of had to "within the four years immediately preceding the date of his application, accumulated at least three years of residence in Canada". This, it is obvious, the Appellant has failed to do.
