     REASONS FOR ORDER AND ORDER

BLAIS J.

[1]      The plaintiffs had been duly served with a notice of status review dated February 21, 2000, requiring the plaintiffs to show cause why this action should not be dismissed for delay, and the solicitors for the plaintiffs and defendant had filed written submissions.

[2]      In my view, the plaintiffs failed to show cause why this action should not be dismissed for delay.

[3]      The plaintiffs tried to explain that the delay that is qualified as dormancy for more than eleven (11) years is mainly due to financial constraint.

[4]      The respondent has convinced the Court that she will suffer prejudice if this action continues.

[5]      IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT this action be dismissed for delay.
