Docket: IMM-3062-98

BETWEEN:

     BESIR KURT

     HUDE KURT

     Applicants

     AND

     THE MINISTER

     Respondent

     ORDER AND REASONS FOR ORDER

NADON J.

[1]      The applicants seek to set aside a decision of the Refugee Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board (the "Board") dated June 9, 1998.

[2]      The first two applicants are husband and wife. The third applicant is their daughter. They are citizens of Turkey of Kurdish origin.

[3]      The Board concluded that many aspects of the husband"s story were not credible and, as a result dismissed his claim. As the wife and the daughter"s claims were based on the husband"s claim, and hence on his evidence, their claims were also dismissed.

[4]      Notwithstanding Mr. Goldstein"s very able arguments, I am of the view that the Board made no reviewable error. On the evidence before it, the Board"s conclusion regarding the husband"s credibility cannot be qualified as unreasonable. Consequently, this application for judicial review is dismissed.
