Docket: IMM-2522-99

BETWEEN:

     KARAM SINGH RAJPUT

     Applicant

     - and -

     THE MINISTER OF CITIZENSHIP

     AND IMMIGRATION

     Respondent

     REASONS FOR ORDER AND ORDER

REED J. (orally)

[1]      There is no merit to this application. The visa officer gave the applicant full points in experience even though she doubted the validity of his documentation. She gave him four points for personal suitability - even if she had given him the full 10 points, he would not have obtained the required 70 points. Her questioning of him about his language ability and his immigration status, are not examples of bias but questioning with respect to false statements he had made. Her questioning of him about his failure to attend earlier scheduled interviews does not demonstrate bias. The applicant was not truthful in his application. There was no bias on the part of the visa officer.

     ORDER

[2]      The application is therefore dismissed.
