     ORDER AND REASONS FOR ORDER

[1]      By Order dated June 22, 1999, I gave the plaintiffs until September 25, 1999 to serve and file a requisition for a pre-trial conference. My Order extended the time periods established by the previous Order of Denault, J. I also stated that "no further extensions shall be allowed".

[2]      On October 5, 1999, the Registry contacted the plaintiffs to remind them of the deadline for filing the requisition. Counsel"s secretary advised at that time that the parties were pursuing settlement.

[3]      Since that communication, numerous attempts have been made to contact the plaintiffs for an update on the status of this matter. To this date, the Registry has not received any further information and my Order has still not been complied with.

[4]      In that it seems apparent that the plaintiffs do not wish to pursue their claim, plaintiffs" action is dismissed.
