REASONS FOR ORDER
DUBÉ J.:
[1] Ms. Brigitte Objois, counsel for the applicant, was not present at the hearing of this case on Thursday, May 25, 2000, so I asked the registrar to contact her office to find out if she was on her way. The secretary informed the registrar that Ms. Objois no longer represented her client.
[2] The file shows that Ms. Objois was informed on February 11, 2000, by the Registry of this Court that further to an order of Associate Chief Justice Lutfy, the hearing of this case would take place on May 25, 2000, at 9:30 a.m. The file also shows that on November 4, 1999, my colleague Justice Teitelbaum had already adjourned this case owing to Ms. Objois' illness.
[3] It was incumbent on Ms. Objois to inform the court that she no longer represented her client. Such neglect on her part shows a lack of professionalism and courtesy towards the court. This application is accordingly dismissed.
