IN THE MATTER OF THE

Sydney Airport Authority;

Public Service Alliance of Canada,

applicants.

WHEREAS the Canada Industrial Relations Board (the Board), by order no. 10373-U dated March 12, 2013, certified the Public Service Alliance of Canada as the bargaining agent for a unit of employees of the Sydney Airport Authority comprising:

All employees of the Sydney Airport Authority, Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia, excluding the Chief Executive Officer, Manager, Finance and Administration, Manager, Airport Operations, Manager of Facilities and Maintenance and Secretary.

AND WHEREAS the Board has received a joint application from the applicants, pursuant to section 18 of the Canada Labour Code (Part I–Industrial Relations), seeking to amend the said order by updating the bargaining unit description to reflect changes to the bargaining unit exclusions;

AND WHEREAS, following investigation of the application and consideration of the submissions of the parties concerned, the Board has determined that it is appropriate to grant the application.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Canada Industrial Relations Board hereby declares that the Public Service Alliance of Canada is the bargaining agent for a bargaining unit comprising:


 

all employees of the Sydney Airport Authority, Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia, excluding the Chief Executive Officer; Manager, Finance and Administration; Manager, Airport Operations; Manager of Facilities; and Marketing and Communications/Business Administration Coordinator.
