  and Aerospace Workers,

certified bargaining agent.

 

 

 

WHEREAS the Canada Industrial Relations Board (the Board), by order no. 9993-U dated January 17, 2011, certified the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, as bargaining agent for a unit of employees of Partenaires en Aviation Inc., comprising:

 

all employees of Partenaires en Aviation Inc. working at Montréal Pierre‑Elliot-Trudeau International Airport, excluding office clerks, supervisors and those above the rank of supervisor.

 

AND WHEREAS, on October 11, 2011, Partenaires en Aviation Inc. changed its name to NavStar Service En Aviation Inc.;

 


AND WHEREAS the Board has received an application pursuant to section 24 of the Canada Labour Code (Part IIndustrial Relations) (the Code) from the Syndicat des travailleuses et des travailleurs de NavStar Aviation‑CSN seeking certification as the bargaining agent for a unit of employees of NavStar Service En Aviation Inc.;

 

AND WHEREAS the certified bargaining agent, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, and the employer do not oppose the present application;

 

AND WHEREAS, following investigation of the application and consideration of the submissions of the parties concerned, the Board has found the applicant to be a trade union within the meaning of the Code and has determined the unit described hereunder to be appropriate for collective bargaining and is satisfied that a majority of the employees of the employer in the unit wish to have the applicant trade union represent them as their bargaining agent.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered by the Canada Industrial Relations Board that the Syndicat des travailleuses et des travailleurs de NavStar Aviation‑CSN  be, and it is hereby certified to be, the bargaining agent for a unit comprising:

 

"all employees of NavStar Service En Aviation Inc. working at Montréal Pierre‑Elliot‑Trudeau International Airport, excluding office clerks, supervisors and those above the rank of supervisor."
