Summary:

Union Gas Limited (“Union”) filed an application dated March 11, 2014 with the Ontario Energy Board under the Municipal Franchises Act for an order granting to Union a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to construct works to supply natural gas in the District Municipality of Muskoka. Union currently holds a franchise agreement with the District Municipality of Muskoka (RP-2001-0067) as well as a franchise agreement and Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity with each of the Town of Bracebridge (RP-2002-0165 and FBC 305, FBC 306, FBC 307), the Town of Gravenhurst (RP-2002-0164 and FBC 89), and the Town of Huntsville (RP-2002-0161 and FBC 170, FBC 255), all of which lie within the municipal boundary of the District Municipality of Muskoka.
