Summary:

ECNG Energy L.P. (“ECNG”) filed separate applications with the Ontario Energy Board (the “Board”) under section 60 and section 50 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, (the “Act”) for an electricity retailer and gas marketer licence, respectively. Due to the similar nature of the applications the Board has combined the applications into one proceeding pursuant to section 21(5) of the Act.
