Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) filed an application with the Ontario Energy Board
(the Board) on September 27, 2013. The application was filed under section 78.1 of the
Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, S.O 1998, c. 15 (Schedule B) (the Act), seeking
approval for payment amounts for OPG’s previously regulated hydroelectric facilities
and nuclear facilities for the period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2015, to be
effective January 1, 2014. The application also sought approval for payment amounts
for newly regulated hydroelectric facilities for the period July 1, 2014 to December 31,
