Decision Information

Summary:

On 29 November 2010, Trans Mountain applied to the Board, under Part IV of the National Energy Board Act (Act or NEB Act), requesting approval of Firm Service on the Trans Mountain pipeline system (Pipeline) with respect to certain capacity to the Westridge Marine Terminal (Westridge dock or Dock). As part of the implementation of Firm Service, 4 300 cubic metres per day (m 3 /d) 1 (27,000 barrels per day (bpd)) of existing Land capacity would be reallocated to Westridge dock capacity. Land capacity would then be 35 000 m 3/d (221,000 bpd) and Westridge dock capacity would be 12 600 m 3/d (79,000 bpd). Of the total Westridge dock capacity, 8 600 m
3/d (54,000 bpd) would be subject to firm commitments as determined through an Open Season with the remaining 4 000 m 3/d (25,000 bpd) available for uncommitted volumes.
