On 30 November 2016, the National Energy Board (Board) received TransCanada’s Notice of Intent to File an Application for the Herbert LTFP service. The Board established a modified version of the Streamlined Regulatory Process set out in Appendix IV of its RH-003-2011 Decision, including written evidence and information requests, as well as oral argument. The Board granted Intervenor standing to all seven parties that submitted Applications to Participate.
