Encana Corporation (Encana), by Application No. 1610944 registered on October 22, 2014, filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC or the Commission) to transfer the ownership of the 279-kilowatt (kW) Resthaven gas-fired power plant. Encana, the current holder of the power plant exemption approval, submitted that it had sold its interest in the 279-kW power plant to Jupiter Resources Inc. (Jupiter). The proposed ownership change is related to facilities previously approved by the AUC in DA2012-244. 1
