On November 8, 2013, ATCO Pipelines (ATCO), a division of ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd. filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission (the AUC or Commission) requesting approval, pursuant to Section 11 of the Pipeline Act and Section 4.1 of the Gas Utilities Act, for the following:
Add Line 188 to Licence No. 2029 as a permitted line for the construction of approximately 8.10 (kilometre) km of new 219.1 millimetre (mm) steel pipe; and
Add Line 189 to Licence No. 2029 as a permitted line for the construction of approximately 0.78 km of new 88.9 mm steel pipeline.
