On August 12, 2016, ATCO Gas, a division of ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd., filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission requesting approval of an unaccounted-for gas (UFG) Rider D rate of 1.161 per cent for 2016-2017, effective November 1, 2016. The Rider D rate proposed by ATCO Gas is 0.059 per cent less than the Rider D rate approved by the Commission for ATCO Gas for 2015-2016.1
