On July 6, 2015, AltaGas Utilities Inc. (AUI) filed two applications with the Alberta Utilities Commission requesting approval of the issuance of debentures and common shares. AUI requested Commission approval by no later than August 31, 2015, so that the interest payment dates for the applied-for debt issuance could mirror the interest payment dates of the most immediately preceding 10-year term debt issuance by AUI’s ultimate parent, AltaGas Ltd. (AL).
