UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2024-UO/TI-06 Ottawa, July 24, 2024 Non-exclusive licence issued to Raymond Biesinger, Montreal (Quebec) authorizing the reproduction and the selling or other transfer of ownership of the reproductions of a map produced by Ethel G. A. Foster pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act.

The licence authorizes the use of a watercolour map produced by Ethel G. A. Foster in 1934, titled: York 1834 Toronto.

The licence authorizes i. Twelve reproductions of the map in a 12" x 12" print at a price of $60.00; and ii. Twelve reproductions of the map in a 24" x 24" print at a price of $100.00. The licence is valid from May 1, 2024, to May 1, 2026. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of $252.00 to Copyright Visual Arts (COVA-DAAV), who may dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members COVA-DAAV undertakes to reimburse any person, who establishes, before May 1, 2031, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee paying to COVA-DAAV the amounts fixed in this licence.
