UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2023-UO/TI-22

Ottawa, October 19, 2023 Non-exclusive licence issued to Leméac Éditeurs inc., Montréal, Quebec, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act

The licence authorizes the reproduction and the selling or other transfer of ownership of the reproductions of a photograph of Marcel Dubé (1930-2016) by Pierre Dionne.

The licence authorizes 600 copies. The licence is valid from September 1 st , 2023 to August 31, 2033. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of forty-nine dollars and eighty-eight cents ($49.88) to COVA-DAAV, who may dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. COVA-DAAV undertakes to reimburse any person, who establishes, before August 31, 2038, ownership of the copyright of the work.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on COVA-DAAV filing with the Board a notice of receipt of payment and undertaking which confirms that the royalties, as specified in paragraph (6) have been received and that COVA-DAAV undertakes to comply with the conditions set out in same.
