UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2022-UO/TI-19 Ottawa, June 16, 2023 Non-exclusive licence issued to Lynda Tierney Art, Vancouver (British Columbia) authorizing the reproduction of a postcard and the selling or other transfer of ownership of the reproductions

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board grants a licence to Lynda Tierney Art as follows:

The licence authorizes the reproduction of a postcard labelled “The Ship of the Seven Seas” produced by the Ronald Huck Agency and printed by Lawson Graphics Pacific Ltd. (year of publication unknown).

The licence authorizes the selling or other transfer of ownership of no more than 1,000 reproductions of the postcard.

The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is valid from June 16, 2023 to June 15, 2028. The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of sixty-three dollars ($63.00) to COVA-DAAV, who may dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. COVA-DAAV undertakes to reimburse any person, who establishes, before June 15, 2033, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on COVA-DAAV filing with the Board a Notice of Receipt of Payment and Undertaking which confirms that the royalties, as specified in paragraph (7) have been received and that COVA-DAAV undertakes to comply with the conditions set out in same.
