Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board of Canada grants a licence to Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal Archeology and History Complex, as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the reproduction and display of the poster of the show Les Voisins of the Duceppe theatre company (author unknown).

(2) The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other uses not covered by this licence.

(3) The licence is valid from the date of the first reproduction, that is, December 5, 2018, and expires on April 29, 2019.

(4) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For any other country, it is the law of that country that applies.

(5) The licensee shall pay the sum of $175 to the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), which may dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. SOCAN undertakes, however, to reimburse any person who, by April 29, 2024, establishes ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

(6) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on SOCAN filing with the Board a Notice of Receipt of Payment and Undertaking in which it undertakes to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (5), above.
