Copyright Board Commission du droit d’auteur Canada Canada [TRANSLATION] Ottawa, April 4, 2012 FILE 2011-UO/TI-10 UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNERS Non-exclusive licence issued to Éditions du Quartz, Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, authorizing the reproduction and the republication in print of a book

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board of Canada issues a licence to Éditions du Quartz as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the reproduction and the republication in print of a literary work entitled Mon premier livre de lecture by Marguerite Forest and Madeleine Ouimet and published by Éditions Granger et frères in 1951.

(2) No more than 1000 copies will be reproduced. (3) The issuance of this licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

(4) The licence expires on April 30, 2017. (5) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

(6) The licensee must clearly provide the bibliographical reference for the work used in accordance with standard conventions: book title, author, editor, and place and date of publication.

(7) The licensee will pay the initial amount of $150 for the first 100 printed copies as well as 10% of the retail price for each additional copy to the Société québécoise de gestion collective des droits de reproduction (COPIBEC). These additional payments to COPIBEC will be accompanied by an annual sales report provided between April 1 st and 30 of each year regarding sales made within the previous 12 months. COPIBEC may dispose of the amount of the royalties set by the licence as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. COPIBEC undertakes, however, to reimburse any person who establishes, before April 30, 2022, ownership of the copyright in any of the works covered by this licence.

- 2 - (8) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on COPIBEC filing with the Board the receipt for the amount of royalties set in the licence, accompanied by an undertaking by COPIBEC to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (7) above.
