Infraction:

Liquor Licensee Handbook Section 5.3.33

Licensee staff may not consume liquor or be under the influence of liquor or drugs while on duty. However, it is acceptable for staff to consume an alcoholic beverage after their shift ends and for the approved manager/owner of the licensed premises to consume an
alcoholic beverage while entertaining a client.

The AGLC is the sole importer of liquor into Alberta. All liquor offered for sale in a licensed premises must be purchased by the licensee from one of the following ALGC-approved sources: (b) a liquor supplier of liquor agency authorized to warehouse and distribute products (e.g., domestic brewery).
