Licensed charitable organizations eligible to conduct a
raffle must comply with policies in this handbook, all Board policies,
and the following:
a) Criminal Code (Canada);
b) Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act;
c) Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation;
d) Electronic Raffle Standards Document (for electronic raffles only);
e) Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard for ticket payment
processing;
f) National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Guidelines for
Securing Public Web Servers, for charitable organization websites that
store information online or include online ticket purchases; and
g) all other applicable federal, provincial, or municipal laws.
