A proposed sale, assignment or transfer of a portion of a
business
(a) that is a sole proprietorship, a partnership or a corporation that is
not a distributing corporation as defined in the Business Corporations
Act, and
(b) under which the activities authorized by a cannabis licence or a
registration under this Part are carried out
must be reported to the Commission by the licensee or registrant and must
be approved by the board prior to the effective date of the sale,
assignment or transfer.
