Notices of Appeal were received on June 27, 2019 from Mr. John Robinson, Ms. Mary Robinson, Ms. Janet Hawes and Ms. Mary Ellen Robinson, Ms. Janet Hawes and Ms. Rhonda Gervais, Mr. Brian Copithorne, the Gauthier Family, Kiwanis Kamp, and the Tsuut’ina Nation with respect to the June 10, 2019 decision of the Director, Alberta Environment and Parks, to issue Water Act Approval No. 00397687-00-00 to Rocky View County relating to a flood mitigation project on the Elbow River, near Bragg Creek, Alberta.
The Board began processing the appeals when on July 9 and 10, 2019 the Board received e-mails and a letter advising that all the appeals were withdrawn. Based on the withdrawal of the appeals, the Board discontinued its proceedings and closed its files on July 11, 2019.
