Appellant – Doug Wahl, Operator – Taqa North Ltd., Location – near Caroline

 

A Notice of Appeal was received on August 29, 2013 from Doug Wahl, landowner, in relation to the September 18, 2012 decision of Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development to issue Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act Reclamation Certificate No. 00313871-00-00 to Taqa North Ltd. in connection with the Altana et al Caroline 6-21-35-5 well and battery site located at SW 21-035-05-W5M, near Caroline.

 

The Board began processing the appeal and scheduling a mediation meeting, however, on October 11, 2013 the Board received notice from Mr. Wahl advising that he reached an agreement with Taqa North Ltd. and was withdrawing his appeal.  The Board discontinued its proceedings and closed its file.
