Appellant – Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, Operator – Marvin B. Ostrom, Location – Pigeon Lake, Alberta, Type of Appeal – Discontinuance

 

On March 9, 2010, a Notice of Appeal was received from Larry and Maureen Fisk, and on March 12, 2010 Notices of Appeal were received from Trudy Hill Flesher of the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, and Mary Ellen Jackson-Herman, with respect to the February 23, 2010 decision of Alberta Environment to issue Water Act Approval No. 00265994-00-00 to Marvin Ostrom authorizing the construction of a shoreline protection works in Pigeon Lake.

 

The Board held a mediation meeting on June 29, 2010 at Westerose, and discussions continued after the mediation.  On September 7, 2010, the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association withdrew their appeal and on September 14, 2010 the Board closed its file with respect to appeal 09-047.
