Appellants – Herbert and Diane Ziemmer, Operator – Canadian Natural Resources Limited Location – near Mayerthorpe, Alberta, Type of Appeal – Discontinuance

 

A Notice of Appeal was received from Herbert and Diane Ziemmer, the landowners, on June 24, 2010 with respect to the January 29, 2010 decision of Alberta Environment to issue Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act Reclamation Certificate No. 00265317-00-00 to Canadian Natural Resources Limited for the CNRES 102 Greencourt 1-12-59-9 well located at SE-12-59-9-W5M, near Mayerthorpe, in Woodlands County, Alberta.

 

The Board began processing the appeal however, granted an abeyance on July 2, 2010 at the request of CNRL to allow discussions between CNRL and the landowners.  The appeal was withdrawn on August 20, 2010, as the concerns of the landowners were addressed by CNRL.  The Board issued a letter on August 20, 2010 closing its file.
